Yumemakura Baku's Onmyoji Series
The original book series is a collection of 14 books, each of which is a compilation of short stories that were published in magazines and anthologies before being collected as tankobon volumes.
It has never been officially translated into English, but you can read my ongoing translation here.
I - Onmyōji (陰陽師)
Published as a tankobon on August 10, 1988.
The first book in the series, which establishes the fantastical and horrific setting of the Heian period and the friendship of Abe no Seimei and Minamoto no Hiromasa.
It is actually a collection of short stories that were published seperately, and later combined and published as a paperback. These include:
