Stage Performances
The KOtoDAMA group put on two performances, 'Onmyoji' in 2000, and 'Onmyoji Kotodama no Maki' in 2002, with Nobuo Kodama playing Abe no Seimei.
Around the time of the film, the actor who played Seimei, Nomura Mansai, also performed as the character on stage, in 2001.
In September 2013, there was a Kabuki adaptation called 'New Onmyoji Takiyashahime' performed at the Kabuki-za New Opening Kaki-rochi September Hanagata Kabuki. The role of Seimei was played by Matsumoto Koshiro X. The performance won the 42nd Takejiro Otani award.
In July 2017, the Jnapi LLC group managed two performances with two different casts for the recitation drama 'Yin Yang Master Fuji, Koiseba Hen'. There was a Yang and a Yin performance, with each one having entirely different casts, sets, and designs. Seimei was performed by Suwabe Junichi and Tsuda Kenjiro.
The video game series also had its own stage production, called 'Onmyoji ~Heian Emaki~', which ran from March to April, 2018, performing in various cities across Japan and China. Seimei was played by Rachi Shinji, and Hiromasa was played by Miura Hiroki. There was another performance called 'Oeyama Edition' performed in 2019.
